Rutt HandCrafted Cabinetry is owned by Birch Investment Partners. Founded in 1951, the brand is still built in New Holland, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Lancaster County. When we design a Rutt kitchen for your client, we work from the current Rutt catalog so every cabinet, dimension, and finish matches what the factory actually produces today.

Rutt sits in the ultra-premium custom tier, so it carries a higher price than stock or semi-custom lines. We do not sell or quote cabinets, but every design we deliver includes a fully itemized price list so you can see each line item before your client commits. That makes it easy to present an accurate budget without guesswork.

Our design fee is a flat $100 per room, whatever the size or layout, with unlimited revisions included. That is just the design work, not the cabinets themselves, which you order from your Rutt dealer. You receive photoreal renders, dimensioned elevations, floor plans, an items and price list, and the native file to send for ordering.

Rutt's range spans inset, beaded inset, and flush overlay construction, plus traditional raised panel, transitional Shaker, and the contemporary Soho slab. We can render any of these in 2020 Flex so your client sees an accurate preview before ordering. Tell us the look you are after and we will build the elevation around it.

Rutt builds in cherry, maple, walnut, and white oak, with quartersawn and rift-cut options for figured grain. Finishes include multi-step hand stains, hand-applied glazes, lacquer topcoats, and distressed or antiqued treatments. We specify your exact wood and finish in the design so the items list reflects precisely what gets ordered from the factory.

For care questions on a finished Rutt kitchen, follow the manufacturer's guidance for hand-stained and lacquered hardwood, which usually means a soft damp cloth and avoiding harsh chemicals. That falls outside our scope, since we produce the design rather than the cabinets. We are happy to help with anything related to the layout, drawings, or renders.

Once we have your client's measurements and the brand selection, we deliver the completed design by 9 AM the next business day. That includes photoreal 3D renders, dimensioned elevations, floor plans, a LiveSpace 3D walkthrough link, and the native ordering file. Unlimited revisions are included, so refinements after the first draft do not change your flat fee.
